New developments and redevelopment sites must comply with PUB's prevailing Minimum Platform Levels in Singapore for flood protection purposes. See also PUB’s Code of Practice (COP) on Surface Water Drainage for more informaiton.
To ensure compliance, PUB Officers from the Building Planning Unit may require inspection on-site to confirm that spaces located below the MPL are sufficiently protected against floods.
